Meet the Director and Founder of Core OT
Kinjal Upadhyaya, the founder of Core OT, has been practicing occupational therapy since 2008. She is driven by a strong passion to assist others. She has held a senior management role in community health services with a specialist interest in improving clinical outcomes. Her background includes treating multiple disorders in the field of paediatrics, geriatrics, neurorehabilitation, equipment prescription, home modification, and mental health rehabilitation.
Having worked as an Occupational Therapist for over 15 years, she focuses on making a lasting difference in people’s lives and their families.
Outside work, Kinjal loves to spend her time relaxing and spending time with family, being active and creative, exploring different places, and trying new foods.
About Our Mobile OT Team in Brisbane
Core OT is a mobile OT team in Brisbane. Our occupational therapists visit people at home, at school and in the community. As a result, we see how you manage everyday tasks in your own surroundings, and we design therapy that fits your real life.
What We Do
We help children, adults and older people build skills and stay independent. For example, we complete functional capacity assessments, standardised assessments, assistive technology assessments and home modification reports. We also provide therapy services such as paediatric OT, rehabilitation and daily living skills.
How Our Mobile OT Team Works
First, we listen to your goals and concerns. Next, your OT completes an assessment in your own setting. After that, we agree a plan with you and your family or support team. Finally, we track your progress and update your supports as your needs change.
Who We Support
